A lot of wooden garage doors fitted 30 – 40 years ago tend to be
affected by moisture and rot and homeowners looking for a replacement often
struggle or can’t find the same design and style of door.
Ryterna Side Hinged Doors provide a perfect solution if you want
replace an old garage door in a similar style or upgrade to a more modern
design from the wide range of bespoke side hinged doors in their range.
The doors are made of insulated panels. Double skin 40mm thick panels
filled with CFC free PU foam. Thermal conductivity is less than 1 W/m2K.
All steel parts are zinc coated and primed before painting. Frames and panels
are robust, rustproof and require minimal maintenance.

Automation
Side-hinged doors are compatible with most electric operators.
Conventional garage door operators used with special barn door conversion rods
can easily operate a side-hinged door.
Frame Mouldings
As an option – door frames can be supplied with mouldings, the moulding
covers the gap between the frame and wall and saves on finishing work.
Colours
The doors are available in all RAL palette and wood-style foil colours
(golden oak, old oak, dark oak, rosewood).
Designs
All panel designs in the Ryterna range can be used. The 'Boards' that
make up the doors can be assembled vertically or horizontally and in order to
create diagonal and chevron designs, obliquely.
Options
Door leaves can be divided evenly – 50/50, or in any other reasonable
proportion according to the specification and customers can choose additional
options like windows, glazed panels, decorative appliqués or even pet flaps.
Sizes
The maximum size for a pair of side hinged doors is 10ft wide by 10ft high
and 4ft wide by 8ft high for single leaf pedestrian doors that match the main
garage door design.
