Lately, simple garage door cladding is not enough. The latest trend is to get a perfect match. And the perfect match means the garage door must look almost concealed in the house facade.

How it is possible? Mainly by using the same facade panels or other materials for garage door cladding.

There are many facade panels from different manufacturers. It can be a processed timber, composite panels, ceramics, or even glass. Consequently, sizes, shapes, and weights are unlike. 

Even more, panel fixation methods to the solid wall and to the moving garage door parts are different.

So we developed 'facade-flush' garage door system to get an almost 'invisible' garage door effect.

Framework

The main point is that the sectional door must be installed together with an aluminium frame in-between the opening. Also, the special aluminium framework is fixed to the door panels. We make the framework according to the house facade cladding layout and cladding material specifications.

The framework has two main functions. Firstly, it levels the surface of the wall with the garage door surface. Secondly, it is a base for cladding fixation to the door.

Consequently, the customer must provide us with facade project drawings and exact cladding material specifications.

Springs

Sectional door weight is balanced by the help of springs. By adding extra weight the door balance is ruined and we can't use standard springs as for standard door. Therefore we must choose the corresponding torsion springs to restore the door balance. Otherwise, the door will malfunction.

Sometimes on the bigger door up to 600 pounds are added. And it is much more than the door weight itself. So you can imagine how different the standard and custom springs are. The heavy load can damage rollers, brackets, and door panels. Accordingly, we 'upgrade' all hardware and install reinforcement profiles to keep the door running smoothly and safely.

Finally, we make drawings to show how to cut cladding panels or planks going on the door. By using our drawings, craftsmen can put cladding on in the right way without losing time and wasting materials.
