Renovation – replacing garage doors

Garage doors can cover up to 25% or more of your house facade. Replacing old and shabby garage door will significantly improve view and value of the house. Today we can offer big variety of styles, colours and finishes.

Old fashion garage doors have few significant disadvantages:

• Incompatible with modern electrical operators - manual operation only.
•  Steel doors (retractable or canopy single skin) are not insulated – energy and money are wasted. Condensed vapor in the inner side of the door stimulates corrosion.
• Wooden doors (side hinged) require constant care, repainting. Wooden construction is affected by humidity.
• Old fashion doors are mounted inside the opening (inbetween opening fit, see Picture 1) using frame – it reduces garage door opening width for about 11 inches.
• Canopy, retractable and side hinged doors during operation requires some space in front of them (see Picture 2). No possibility to park car close to the door. You have to watch your legs and head while opening.
• Complicated system of levels and pullers work like scissors - it is not safe. Unattended children can seriously hurt fingers.

So what is the solution?

Sectional garage doors:

• Compatible with electric operators. Convenient and safe use.
• Good thermal insulation. You can save energy and have cozy garage or working space for your hobby.
•  Possibility to choose inside colour and powder coat tracks in white or grey will fit your high aesthetic requirements.
• Plenty of additional options available: windows, wicket door, ventilation grills or even pet flap.
• No frame is necessary – sectional doors can be mounted on the inner side of the wall (behind opening fit, see Picture 1). Removing old frame will add up to 11 inches to the width of the garage door opening. For e.g. if old retractable garage door was 7 feet (2134mm) width, so replacing it with new sectional door and removing old frame opening width can increase up to 2270mm. In this case you have possibility to drive in to the garage with modern car. Even with unfolded mirrors! If driving accurately.
• Free your mind - all garage doors are made to measure.
• Double steel skin, filled with freon free PU foam. Steel tin – zinc coated, primed, painted. Robust, safe and reliable construction.
• During operation door moves vertically – it will not hurt anybody standing close to the door or hit the car parked too close.
• Modern electric operators allow garage door move reverse without making any harm if somebody is standing in door operation area.
• Finger pinch protected sections and rollers with protection makes construction safe for kids.
• Weather seal by whole perimeter gives good protection from the elements.
